I know things are very busy this time of year, as school comes to an end this week. I have a few items to get out to everyone.

First, the 2009 Johnson County Fair is being held August 3-8. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, August 8th. We would like everyone to participate in both decorating and riding on the float. However, before we can do that, we need volunteers for the float committee to help come up with ideas and coordinate decorating. If you are interested in being part of this fun committee, please send an email to gewcblazers@yahoo.com by May 31st.

Second, I want to remind everyone of the Trailblazer Youth Wrestling Camp. The camp is being put on by Coach Yeamans and the other high school wrestling coaches. It will be held July 13-16 from 6-8 p.m. in the high school wrestling room. For additional information, please contact Coach Yeamans at yeamansm@usd231.com.
